Question by : My friend doesn’t think her child is spoiled what do you think?
My good friend’s oldest daughter is nearly 3 years old (with her height and intelligence you would think she is much older). This child is not only spoiled attention-wise and is the center of attention wherever she goes and by everyone that is around her (especially her parents). WHATEVER she says goes, she is the boss of the house!!! She has a humungous room with her own bathroom and walk-in closet with more clothing, shoes and handbags than I’ve had in my whole life. More toys than toys r us and gets EVERYTHING she wants and more. Her father recently bought her a playhouse that costs something in the vicinity of 35,000 (not kidding). Also recently my friend gave the child’s room a makeover, she took all the old stuff out and re-did the room completely. The bed alone costs 46,000 (still not kidding), a desk that costed a few thousands with her own IMAC computer (she is so brilliant that she can use it her self – including the typing because she can read and spell). A tv cabinet with her own 50″ flat screen TV and DVD player (yeah she uses that by herself too). And even MORE toys. She has three ride-one cars (why she needs 3 I don’t know). They have a room in the house made into a mini-kitchen with actual working equipment (don’t worry she has supervision) She goes for kiddie spray tans, salons (she’s been to the hair dresser more than I have, spas, manicures + pedicures, facials very often as she takes part in beauty pageants (which i also don’t approve of). Her child get way too much and on a daily basis, I tell her this not out of jealousy but out of concern, because even though Quinn is a lovely child and the most beautiful little girl I’ve ever seen, way too intelligent for her age, she is unfortunately like most rich children and knows/thinks that she is “better” than others. I also have problems everytime my 3 year old and 4 year old daughters go over, they get upset with me that I don’t give them what Quinn has. What is your opinion?? Her parents don’t think she is spoiled what do you think??

she certainly has way more then she needs, but I have been guilty of trying to give my kids whatever they want, due to my lack of money sometimes, we have to say no, but coming from a poor family I fid myself getting joy when my kids get things I wish I had gotten as a child, I do think it’s good to say no sometimes and have them deal with the fact we dont always get what we want, as for your kids, my daughter has felt the same, we live in a 2 bedroom apartment, and my mother in law who has a daughter the same age got into low income housing and has a 4 bedroom town home, I explain we work hard, we are thankful we have anything and there are kids who have way less so dont pout and that’s the end of the discussion

Her mother will then say that she gives her everything because she grew up without. I would also like to add that she has identical triplet girls that are nearly 9 months old now and they are just as spoiled as their sister. And even though you might not believe this, she is 6 months pregnant again now with twin boys……. and if i also may add, she had quinn when she was 14!!! the triplets exactly 2 years later at 16 and she’s now 17…… I love her but i really think it’s wrong

Is this a serious question? She had the first at 14 and is now 17? If this is serious, then yes, these children are spoiled beyond reason, and there mother is only a child herself.
